Background

Over the past decade I’ve delivered production software across e-invoicing, logistics, banking, and multi-tenant ERP — as an experienced engineer, architect, and DevOps practitioner. My core is the Java and Spring ecosystem, with a strong focus on microservices, enterprise integration, and cloud-native platforms.

I’ve delivered for teams across Ireland, Norway, Sri Lanka, and now Sweden, and I’m comfortable owning work end to end in distributed, English-speaking teams — from architecture and implementation through to deployment and operations.

PEPPOL / AS4 eDelivery and enterprise integration with Apache Camel

Open source

I contribute to Oxalis, the open-source PEPPOL AS4 gateway used by access points around the world — including Java modernization and AS4 receipt validation. It’s public, so it’s the one part of my work you can inspect directly: github.com/harsha-amarasiri.

Based in Stockholm

I work remotely from Stockholm (CET) across Europe and worldwide, and I’m progressing my Swedish through SFI.
